Kitchen Reorganization Pt.2

Today was day 2 of our kitchen reorg and we made a trip to Charlotte. First stop was to Ikea and then to The Container Store. To say the least it was another exhausting day.

Back it up, our actual first stop was to T.J. Maxx because I had to use the restroom and last time we visited Ikea there was a long line out the door.

RGI wicker baskets

It must have been fate that we made a pit stop to T.J. Maxx because I found these two RGI baskets for only $12.99 each. I wanted some baskets to go at the bottom of our pantry which is our biggest reorg of the kitchen and they fit perfectly.

The main reason for the trip to Ikea was to purchase a unit to go in my cookie closet for Embellished Dough. Unfortunately they didn’t have the unit I was planning to purchase. I was kicking myself for not grabbing it 2 weeks ago when the girls and I made the trip there.

After we found a few items from Ikea we made our way to The Container Store. This was our first time visiting The Container Store. I wanted to get EVERYTHING! Their were so many things that I wanted to get for not only our kitchen reorganization but other rooms as well but I had to pump my breaks and stay focused…SQUIRRELS!

To say the least we all enjoyed our trip to The Container Store, especially Luna. She had so much fun pulling things off the shelves and people watching. It’s great to see her little personality taking shape.

Our first trip to The Container Store was a SUCCESS! Since stalking organization accounts on IG, I quickly realized that this was the place to purchase organization items. I signed up for an account and was able to save 15% off my first purchase. So if you plan to make a trip anytime soon, make sure you sign up ahead of time to save! I’m all about saving!

On the ride up to Charlotte, we ordered a bunch of containers and organization bins from Amazon. So we didn’t need to go completely overboard. Everything we purchased from Amazon should be here by Saturday so we’ll have the big reveal on Sunday! ~Selena
