New Sunglasses|W1D2

Today is day 2 of the 8 week challenge so I’ll be doing a day 1 recap. Before that I want to share that I purchased these cute (to me but not Amiyah…ugh) cat eye sunglasses from Target and they arrived today. I like big and weird shaped sunglasses so these were perfect! I even had a not so happy photo bomber who wanted to be picked up, lol. Don’t mind the crazy hair, I just took off my hat and tried to funky it up.

DAY 1 RECAP:

My day started at 5:15AM when the alarm went off. I had a workout planned for 5:30M so I wasn’t able to hit snooze. I did a 30 minute circuit, then I did a 30 minute Peloton ride, a 10 minute run and then I laid in my sauna blanket for 30 minutes. Needless to say I was drenched, I mean everything was soaked!

I had a headache the day prior so it carried over but I’m sure some of that was caffeine and sugar withdrawals, I have to admit I love a Pepsi Max. Overall I felt good today but I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t missing carbs or sauce or anything besides dry seasoning. I have goals so I plan to push through and keep busy!

So what did I eat?

Meal 1: 3 eggs and sautéed spinach with “Everything But The Bagel” seasoning from Trader Joes and mixed nuts.

Meal 2: Zucchini noodles and shrimp and mixed nuts

Meal 3: Egg roll in a bowl minus the egg and mixed nuts

I managed to drink my 1 gallon water and green tea that morning. I was in the bathroom, ALOT!! That’s the only downside of drinking so much water. I couldn’t resist, I did step on the scale before getting in the shower and I am down 6.7lbs. I wore a sauna suit and waist trimmer so I know those pounds lost were water weight but I’ll take it. Looking forward to tomorrow!! ~Selena
