Week 1 Results|W2D1

When I woke up this morning I was planning to get on the scale but I wasn’t going to look. But once I got on the scale I decided, why not! Regardless of what the number showed on the scale I was going to finish the 8 week challenge. I knew it would probably be higher then what showed when I lasted weighed. I can tell because my hands seems a little puffy. My weight was 165.8, up 2.3lbs from the morning of day 4 when I last weighed myself.

I’m still down 12.9lbs for week one which is crazy! I’m sure a lot of that has to do with the week prior. We were in Orlando, FL for our anniversary and we ate out everyday and drank wine 2 nights. Of course we ate dessert, so I was probably a little bloated. I didn’t do measurements this morning so I’m not sure how many inches I lost.

I can see the biggest difference in the pictures from the side view. I lost more inches in my midsection it appears from the photos. Going forward I will only weigh myself on Monday morning. I’m not trying to get caught up with the number on the scale.

Today’s meals:

  • Meal 1: Mushroom, peppers & spinach egg white omelette w/1/2 grapefruit
  • Meal 2: Hamburger steak with onions & cabbage w/apple & PB
  • Meal 3: Pineapple shrimp w/cauliflower rice

Today’s Workout:

  • 5 min Warm Up Ride
  • 30 min Tabata Ride
  • 5 min Cool Down Ride

Today’s meals were AMAZING and the workouts were as well. I also feel like I finally had a good bowel movement in which I haven’t had in a few days(TMI). I’m hoping to see more changes this week and not focus on the scale. Trusting the process! ~Selena
